The Sella Learning Center offers three formats besides the annual fellowship: Preservation Week, a 4-to-5-day course in Maringá with about 5 live surgeries, fresh-cadaver dissection and classes of 5 to 6 surgeons; a one-week mentorship following Dr. Guilherme Sella in clinic and operating room (about 5 surgeries and 4 clinic sessions); and Mastering Preservation, an online platform with lectures, edited surgeries and papers, with the first lesson free in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Preservation Week (Preservation Ultrasonic Rhinoplasty Course)
- Duration: 4 to 5 days in Maringá, Brazil
- Format: about 5 live surgeries with active participation, fresh-cadaver dissection lab, theory sessions and case discussions
- Class size: 5 to 6 surgeons
- Program: facial analysis; dorsal preservation (push down, let down); piezoelectric osteotomies and bone sculpting; ligaments and tip surgery; grafts; integrated functional surgery; revisions and complications
- Language: Portuguese with English and Spanish support

One-week mentorship (weekly fellow)
An exclusive week with Dr. Sella in the clinic and operating room: on average 5 surgeries (one per day) and 4 clinic sessions. Observational, inside the OR, with participation in planning and discussion. Ideal for surgeons who already operate and want an intensive practical update. One surgeon per week; book in advance.
Mastering Preservation (online)
Everything about rhinoplasty with a focus on preservation and the patient experience: lectures on personal experience and literature review, surgical technique videos, edited surgeries and scientific papers. 100% remote and flexible, with a free demonstration lesson in English, Spanish and Portuguese and subscription plans.

Maringá has direct flights from São Paulo (GRU/CGH). The team recommends hotels near the clinic and hospital.

Do I need rhinoplasty experience to attend Preservation Week?
The course serves beginners to advanced surgeons, but you will get the most out of it if you are familiar with nasal anatomy and already perform or assist rhinoplasties.
Will I operate during the mentorship?
The mentorship is observational inside the OR, with participation in discussions. Hands-on practice on fresh cadaver takes place in Preservation Week.
