The annual fellowship is the deepest training at the Sella Learning Center: twelve months of daily surgery, clinic and study alongside Dr. Sella.
The Sella Learning Center annual fellowship is a 12-month program in rhinoplasty and facial plastic surgery in Maringá, Brazil. The fellow accompanies Dr. Guilherme Sella in every surgery and consultation, assisting in all procedures, and receives a certificate from the Brazilian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (ABCPF) / ABORL-CCF and the clinic. More than 50 surgeons from several countries have trained with Dr. Sella in fellowships and mentorships.
The year
- Operating room: assisting in preservation, ultrasonic, structural and revision rhinoplasty, functional nasal surgery, deep plane facelift, blepharoplasty, genioplasty, otoplasty and other facial procedures.
- Clinic: patient assessment, facial analysis, simulation, pre-operative nasal ultrasound and post-operative care.
- Study: case discussions, literature review and access to the Mastering Preservation platform.
- Teaching: participation in the Preservation Week courses and mentorships hosted during the year.
- Congresses: opportunity to accompany Dr. Sella at national and international meetings.
Requirements
- Completed (or completing) residency in otolaryngology; plastic and maxillofacial surgeons are welcome in the mentorship and course formats
- Active medical license and full-time availability in Maringá for 12 months
- Working knowledge of Portuguese, Spanish or English; interview with Dr. Sella
Certification
Certificate from the Brazilian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (ABCPF) / ABORL-CCF and from Dr. Sella's clinic.
