Dr. Guilherme Sella is an otolaryngologist and facial plastic surgeon with a PhD from the University of São Paulo. He combines dorsal preservation and piezoelectric (ultrasonic) techniques, teaches surgeons in more than ten countries, and welcomes international patients in Maringá, Brazil.

Solid academic training and a career devoted to the nose
Born in Maringá, Guilherme Sella completed his ENT residency and a direct PhD at the University of São Paulo's Ribeirão Preto Medical School (FMRP-USP), followed by fellowships in structural rhinoplasty in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia, and observerships in the United States, Europe and Turkey.
Today he divides his time between the clinic, the operating room and teaching: he founded the Sella Learning Center, created the Mastering Preservation online platform and lectures at rhinoplasty congresses in more than ten countries.

Do you see patients from outside Brazil?
Yes. Patients come from Latin America, the United States and Europe. The first consultation is online, surgery is scheduled in advance and you stay about one week in Maringá. See the international patients guide.

Yes. Dr. Sella and his team communicate in English, Spanish and Portuguese, before and after surgery.
How long is the surgery and the hospital stay?
Three to five hours of surgery (longer for revisions) and usually a 12 to 24-hour stay at Saine Health Complex.
When will I see the final result?
The nose changes within the first month, but tip swelling takes longer. The final result is assessed between 6 and 12 months.
How is the price defined?
The surgical fee is quoted after the consultation, because it depends on the technique, operating time and the need for grafts. The proposal includes the surgical team, hospital, anesthesia and follow-up visits.
